Campervan Hire Terms & Conditions

  • Aged 21-70

  • Full UK License

  • Passport or EU Driving License

  • £500 refundable security or car keys!

  • 2 utility bills dated to the last 3 months

Rental Agreement

At GDH Campervan Hire the Customer comes first, please allow the time to read our Terms and Conditions below.

1. Minimum Hire

  • 2 Nights and you can hire our van for as long as 90 days.

2. Passengers

  • Authorises the use of 4 passengers including the designated driver, restraints are provided, to be used all times when in motion.

3. Drivers 

  • Must be 21-70 years of age.

  • Security Deposit of £500 for insurance excess applies to all of our VW Campervan hires with UK driver licence.

4. Main Drivers

  • Must provide a copy of their licence.

  • Drivers are personally liable for penalties (eg. parking, speeding etc.).

5. Payment of Your Campervan Rental

  • A reservation is only binding once confirmed by GDH Campervan Hire.

  • 50% of total booking has been received and agreed in return by GDH Campervan Hire and the customer receives confirmation email.

  • Settlement of balance 2 weeks before start date commences.

  • A refundable security deposit will be held on by GDH Campervan Hire, this will cover any damages or fines incurred.

  • £350 Cash Deposit.

6. Campervan to be returned:

  • Return Address: Appleby Business Park, Appleby Street, Blackburn, BB1 3BL

  • With a full tank fuel, if not you will be charged as per following website: AA Latest Diesel Prices Plus 2.5% fee.

7. Interior

  • We reserve the right to retain the £100 soiling fee if the campervan is not returned with the interior in a clean condition.

8. Return Times

  • 3pm on the day of return any late returns could face up to £100 fine.

9. Cancellation Charges 

  • Receive a full refund of their deposit (56 days) prior to rental start (less than £50 admin fee). 

  • Receive 50% of total hire charge between 8 - 4 weeks prior to rental date, less a 50% admin fee.

  • Forfeit 100% of the total Charge if cancelled less than 4 weeks before rental start date.

10. Rental and Other Charges

  • All rental charges

  • Security deposit

  • Cancellation fee

  • Cost of any damage to the vehicle or property of any third party subject to insure

  • All fines or penalties occurred in relation to the vehicle rental dates 

  • The daily rental rate for the period of the vehicle is off fleet for accident repairs 

  • The cost to recover a vehicle which has become bogged

  • Insurance
